One month to go

Only one month left of my three months of uninterrupted coding time.

Okay, when I am back in the U.S. I can keep practicing coding while I look for a job, but one of the benefits of being in a foreign country where I don't know anyone is that there is not much to do besides code and stick to my exercise plan!

Okay, not true, recently I've been distracted by the exciting world of making art with Inkscape.

But it's time to refocus--and I'm starting to get confused again about what to focus on. There are just so many options.

Back in April when I decided to go down the Rails path, there seemed to be tons of job search results in Atlanta for Rails jobs. Now when I'm staring a job hunt in the face, it seems that 100% of the Rails job ads are looking for senior developers.

So . . . I brushed up on my Javascript a little bit. Do I learn React and React Native now? What about Node.js? What about writing tests for my Rails apps? What about algorithms and technical interview questions?

Honestly, there should be time to make good headway on some of these things, if I don't just keep task switching from one to another.
